Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mobiz Payroll, operated by Mobiz.mu. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your organisation.

Subscriptions are priced by active employee count and billed monthly in Mauritian rupees.

Adding active employees beyond your plan's limit requires an upgrade. Archived and inactive employees do not count toward the limit and are never removed.

One organisation is covered per subscription unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Payment is by bank transfer only. No card details are collected or stored, and no payment is taken automatically.

You declare each transfer in the application and upload proof of payment. Access is activated or renewed after we verify it.

Monthly payment is due by the 3rd day of each month.

If payment has not been received after the due day, the subscription enters a grace period of 5 days. Payroll remains fully available throughout the grace period.

If payment is still outstanding after the grace period, the account is frozen. A frozen account remains accessible in read-only form: you can sign in, view your company, see payment instructions, upload proof of payment and contact support.

Freezing never deletes customer data. Access is restored once payment is verified.

These timings are the current defaults and may be changed by Mobiz. Any change will be communicated in advance.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for the payroll configuration you choose, and for reviewing and approving payroll before you pay employees or submit anything to an authority.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for the actions of the users you invite.

Mobiz Payroll provides configurable tools based on applicable payroll rules. It is not certified, endorsed or approved by any government authority, and it does not file returns on your behalf.

Statutory rates are configurable and versioned. You remain responsible for confirming that the rates configured for your organisation are correct and current.

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it is provided without warranty of uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period.

We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment or misuse. You will be given a reasonable opportunity to export your data before any deletion.
